Alan attempts to siphon gas from Charlie’s car to recoup the value. Charlie catches him after smelling the gas on Alan's breath and humorously threatens him with a lighter until he confesses.
While the brothers bicker over pennies, Jake (Angus T. Jones) gets his first taste of work. His grandmother, Evelyn (Holland Taylor), arranges a job for him spinning a "Condos For Sale" sign on a street corner.
