PatreonThen, it came. The third cry, sharper and more desperate than the others.
Suddenly, the cabin door creaked open. It wasn't Jax. It was a girl from the bus, Maya, her face pale in the moonlight.
Elias flicked his lighter and opened the journal. The pages were blank, but as the flame flickered near them, ink began to bleed through the paper. It wasn't writing; it was a map of the camp, but with rooms and tunnels that shouldn't exist. Directly beneath the mess hall, a large chamber was labeled: The Archivist. SummerCamp-0.1.2.-pc_[juegosXXXgratis.com].zip
A cold breeze swept through the screen door, carrying the scent of damp earth and something metallic. Elias gripped the journal. He could feel a faint vibration coming from the floorboards.
In Cabin 4, Elias sat on his creaky bunk. The other boys were already asleep—unnervingly fast, as if someone had flipped a switch. He waited. Hoot-ugh. Hoot-ugh. The second call. Then, it came
Elias looked down at his map. A red dot was pulsing right where they stood. "It's not a camp, Maya," he said, his voice barely audible. "It's a harvest."
As the sun dipped below the horizon, the first loon cried out. A haunting, hollow sound. It wasn't Jax
Outside, the loons fell silent, and the heavy thud of boots began to approach their cabin. The summer had only just begun, but the exit was already gone.
