Star Wars: The Clone Wars is widely considered some of the best content in the franchise. While it began with a poorly received theatrical film, the subsequent 3D animated series (2008–2020) evolved into a critically acclaimed masterpiece that "saved" the prequel era by adding deep character development and resolving plot inconsistencies.
