In 1887, Chon Wang (Jackie Chan) is a sheriff in Carson City, Nevada, when he receives devastating news: his father has been murdered in China. The killer, a British lord named Rathbone, has stolen the Imperial Seal and fled to London.

The duo finds themselves completely out of place in Victorian London. While Roy tries to charm high-society women and pretend he's a wealthy novelist, Wang focuses on the mission.
