took on the role of Steven (and eventually Garnet as the leader). Lapis Lazuli took on the role of Amethyst . Peridot took on the role of Garnet (initially). Pumpkin filled in for Pearl .

: Upon returning from space, Steven listens to Connie's recount of her time in Beach City. While the main team was gone, Connie, Peridot, and Lapis formed a temporary squad known as the "Crystal Temps" to protect the city and manage Greg’s car wash. The "New" Roles
