[s2e10] — The Gentleman And The Thief

The thief tipped his hat, a faint smirk playing on his lips. "In a world of chaos, style is the only thing that separates us from the Slugslingers who simply want to break things. I’m not just a thief, Eli. I’m a performer."

The blue glow of the Shane Gang’s headquarters was interrupted by the frantic buzzing of Trixie’s tablet. "Eli, you need to see this," she said, her eyes fixed on the latest upload to the slug net. [S2E10] The Gentleman and the Thief

"A gentleman thief?" Eli Shane mused, loading Burpy into his blaster. "He’s practically leaving us a trail of breadcrumbs." The thief tipped his hat, a faint smirk playing on his lips

"He’s good," Pronto grumbled, dusting off his cape. "But he’s not Pronto-good." I’m a performer

With a sudden flick of his wrist, the thief launched a specialized slug that didn't explode or burn. Instead, it released a dense, shimmering fog of light-refracting particles. By the time the mist cleared, the pedestal was bare, and the gentleman was gone, leaving behind only a single, silver calling card and a new notification on Trixie's tablet: Better luck next time, Shane Gang.

"Eli Shane," the thief said, his voice smooth and devoid of malice. "I’ve heard much of your heroics. It’s a shame we meet under such... acquisitive circumstances."

"More like a challenge," Kord added, checking the mechanical seals on his Mecha-beast. "Every post has a location hint. The next one points to the Crystal Forge."
