The story picks up immediately after the events of the first film. Marty (Michael J. Fox) and Doc (Christopher Lloyd) travel to , to save Marty's future son from a disastrous mistake. While there, an elderly Biff Tannen steals the DeLorean and a sports almanac, traveling back to 1955 to give the book to his younger self.
