Born in 2004, Miki Miki spent most of his life as a breeding male at the Keauhou Bird Conservation Center , playing a critical role in saving his species from the brink of extinction. In March 2026, he began a new chapter when he was moved to the Panaʻewa Rainforest Zoo and Gardens , joining his companion, Loli'ana, as an ambassador for a species that is currently extinct in the wild.
