In the game's Mod Manager , enable the Hella Lamp Pack.

If you notice a delay between turning on high beams and the lamps lighting up, you can manually edit the mod's hookup file. Adding a state_change_duration line with a value lower than the default 1.0 (which is 1 second) will make the response instant. Hella Lamp Pack v2.0.2 1.45
