: The mountains float because they are filled with unobtanium, which repels the powerful geomagnetic "flux" of Pandora. This magnetic interference also scrambles human technology, making the area a perfect hiding spot for the Na'vi clans.

: The islands circulate slowly like icebergs, often colliding in midair—an event the Na'vi call the "Thundering Rocks". They are covered in lush foliage and feature "reverse geyser" waterfalls that disperse into mist before reaching the ground.

The (Na'vi: Ayram Alusìng ) are the iconic floating islands of Pandora from James Cameron's Avatar franchise .
