The legend says the spring was not born of the earth, but of a promise. Centuries ago, a shepherd and a girl from a rival village fell in love. In Azerbaijani lore, such "star-crossed" love often ends in tragedy or transformation. They were forbidden from meeting, so they chose a desolate, rocky ridge as their secret sanctuary.

In Azerbaijani mugham and folk music, a "spring" often represents the lifeblood of the motherland. Singing of "Sarı Bulaq" is an act of memory for lands and pastures that may have been lost or left behind.

The "deep story" of their performance is one of . No matter how far the people wander or what hardships they face, they return to the "Sarı Bulaq"—the golden source of their identity—through the power of song. Elnare Abdullayeva Mirelem Mirelemov Sari Bulaqmen

Every day, the shepherd would bring his flute, and the girl would bring her songs. They believed that as long as the music played, the mountains would protect them. But one winter, a great war swept through the valleys. The shepherd was called to defend the pass, and the girl was forced to flee. Before they parted, they wept upon the dry, barren rocks of their ridge.

The title you’ve mentioned refers to the popular performance of the folk song (Yellow Spring) by Azerbaijani singers Elnarə Abdullayeva and Mirələm Mirələmov . The legend says the spring was not born

High in the mountains of the Caucasus, where the air is so thin it tastes of ice and ancient songs, there was a spring known as . Unlike other waters that ran silver, this spring bubbled up through iron-rich earth, shimmering like liquid gold under the midday sun.

When and Mirələm Mirələmov perform this song, they evoke several "deep" layers of Azerbaijani culture: They were forbidden from meeting, so they chose

It is said that their tears were so heavy with longing that they cracked the stone. From that crack, a spring began to flow—golden and pure. The Symbolic Meaning

    Hello Nathan,

I’ve been using Gleim to study for the exams. I took Part 2 a couple of weeks ago but do not feel confident about passing it. I think the actual questions are different than Gleim’s MCQ. That being said, how are your test bank questions generated and what’s the level of difficulty of the questions? Unpopular opinion but I think Gleim’s MCQs are less difficult than the actual exam.

    Thanks.

      Hi Vince,

Our test bank questions, including the final simulation, are a combination of retired exam questions and questions written by our CMAs.

Keep in mind that the exam questions on the real exam are going to be always new as the IMA doesn’t recycle retired exam questions.

      Hi Ben,

CMA candidates often come from varying backgrounds, and we’ve had students with no previous accounting background who successfully completed our program and passed the exam.

Our combo course also includes a Fundamentals of Accounting textbook which helps candidates to refresh their knowledge before starting the course.

      Hi Nigel,

I would recommend reaching out directly to IMA to verify if they’re able to exempt you from the education requirement. They may do that on a case-by-case basis.

However, even if you don’t meet the education and experience requirements for the CMA, you can still take the CMA exam and fulfill the requirements within 7 years of passing the exam to get certified.

      Good luck!

      Thanks,
      Nathan
