Ada — Bmp4

An enzyme involved in purine metabolism. Deficiency in ADA is a known cause of Severe Combined Immunodeficiency (SCID). In research, ADA expression is often monitored alongside other markers to observe how cells transition from a pluripotent state to a differentiated one.

A critical signaling molecule. While it helps maintain pluripotency in mouse stem cells, in human cells, BMP4 typically induces differentiation into mesoderm or trophoblast lineages. Research Observations ADA Bmp4

The presence or upregulation of Dpp4, Ada, and BMP4 is associated with a "less pluripotent phenotype," meaning the cells are becoming more specialized. An enzyme involved in purine metabolism

High-throughput screenings often group these markers to identify modulators of cancer or stem cell behavior: A critical signaling molecule

The terms and BMP4 appear together most frequently in the context of biomedical research , specifically regarding stem cell differentiation and cellular signaling. Genetic & Molecular Context
